Twitter sharing not working

  Hi there,

  Since yesterday I have noticed that I cannot share my posts to twitter (via twitter button below posts). The twitter box opens but when I am pressing “tweet” the box disappears and my tweet never appears in twitter. I have already disconnected and then reconnected my wp account with twitter but problem is still there.

  Any ideas?

  I can use the twitter sharing button below your posts and I’m using Firefox 10.0.2 as my browser.

  Exactly which browser and version of it are you using? If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

  Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/

  Have you tried using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled?

  Do you have third party cookies enabled? http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416

  Do you have JavaScript enabled? http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

  Do you have another browser you can try?

  it seems that the problem exists only for one specific post, this is strange.

  I followed all the above but for this specific post twitter button is not working.

  The Tweet button is operational. I just tried it.

  Did you try to tweet the post or you just pressed the tweet button? Because the box appears when you press twitter button but when you press tweet, within the browser box that appears nothing happens (even it tells you that the tweet has posted).

  You are right! I just tried the complete process and it did not post to Twitter. Too bad I didn’t do that yesterday. I’m sorry that I didn’t. I wonder if it isn’t the odd ball post title that’s problematic. In any event I can’t help you with this. Please use the Help link on the top right hand corner of your Admin page to contact Staff.

  If the problem remain for this specific post is ok, is not a big deal but I will keep an eye for next posts and in case this happen again I will contact staff.

  I have a strong hunch that your post title may be the problem but I could be wrong. Best wishes for better blogging. :)
