Twitter ticker

  For some reason on this blog and my wordpress.org website, I can’t get the Twitter Ticker to show up. I take that back, it shows “Follow EVA on Twitter” and “My Tweets”, but there is nothing there.

  I’ve created the widget on twitter, only to have it not work. I’ve then deleted it and created a knew one, and it still doesn’t work.

  Is there a way to get a working Twitter Ticker on any wordpress site?

  I did. That’s when it shows where the ticker goes, but doesn’t show the tweets.

  Nope, You need to put the id:

  Your widget ID is the long number you see in the URL while editing your Twitter widget

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-timeline-widget/#get-your-twitter-widget-id

  It’s similar to id=”2635xxxxx”
  xxxxx are numbres too.

  I’ve copied the entire link from the Twitter page (the one that shows up in the small box below the tweets). Should I not do that?

  Nope, only the number. See the image:

  in Widget ID, You need to put the long number you see in the URL while editing your Twitter widget.

  Just the long number, not the entire link, like https://twitter.com/settings/……..

  again, the ID number is similar to “2635xxxxx” —>Nine numbers, more or less.
