Twitter Time-line Widget

  I am trying to add a twitter time-line to my blog; thewritingdyslexic. However, every time I try to create a widget, that isn’t a ‘search’ widget. I am unable to to create one and have it show up on my blog! I even tried adding the search to the current widget, with the number ‘Widget Id’, following all of the directions on wordpress.com, and it still will not show up. Any help? 1) I can’t finish creating a profile widget o twitter, except for a ‘search’ widget. 2) nothing will show up on my page.

  I don’t understand what your reference to search is all about. One uses Twitter search on the Twitter site not on your blog.

  Thank you for the response!

  The mention, towards the ‘search twitter widget” that is linked here https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-timeline-widget/, is the only function that works like the “time-line widget” used to. And what I was referring to.

  I wasn’t referring to the “search function” used on the twitter site itself. I apologize for the confusion.

  I can see you have added a number of widgets to your sidebar, including a Twitter widget (not the Twitter timeline widget). Are you still having problems? If you are, let me know and I’ll help you out.
