Twitter Timeline not displaying properly in Ryu theme.

  Hello,

  I am currently using the Ryu theme and I would like to use the Twitter Timeline widget in the drop-down area that is designed into the theme, however, when I add the widget it messes-up how the drop-down area displays – the drop-down area takes-up the entire screen.

  I do not encounter this problem with other widgets. I have tried tweaking the Twitter Timeline to only display one tweets and restricted its height to 250, but nothing seems to help. When I add the widget, the entire drop-down area fills the screen rather than wrapping to the widget.

  Hi Chuthan – This was because you had “No borders” selected in the widget’s Layout Options. Try putting it back and unchecking that box.

  That is incorrect – I never touched any of the checkboxes.

  As I explained I only tweaked the number of tweets as well as the height.

  Hi Chuthan – For whatever reason, they’re appearing checked by default, then. Please add the widget back and uncheck those options, and save. Then the widget should appear correctly. :)

  Once again that is incorrect. The boxes do not appear checked by default – and regardless the option to remove borders was not active when I tried.

  Are you a support staff or just a random user?

  Perhaps if you loaded-up the theme and actually tried adding the widget you could contribute something helpful and correct.

  Hi Chuthan – I’m support staff. I did use the widget and theme and what I found was that I could replicate how it looked on your site if the border box was checked. I also added your own inactive widget, and the box was checked. Unchecking it fixed the problem, but I didn’t want to leave a widget on your site that you hadn’t put there yourself.

  When I add it now, however, your information is not filled out in the widget anymore. Can you please replace the widget and fill out your information, and then reply here, so that I can take a look at it? If it’s still displaying incorrectly, we’ll go from there.
