Twitter Timeline not working

  Please don’t get rid of the original Twitter widget until the Twitter timeline is fixed…it’s not working for me and I found all sorts of other people for whom it is just not working at all. For me, I kept pasting the ID for the widget in the designated space in the WP widget, but when I clicked “Save” it disappeared and nothing ever showed up on the page. The old widget works great however.

  I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty getting the Twitter Timeline to work properly.

  Out of curiosity, did you check out our support documentation on setting it up? http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-timeline-widget/

  I ask because the Widget ID that the widget needs is different from your Twitter username, and requires extra steps over at Twitter.

  If you haven’t had a chance, take a look at that document and let me know if it helps. If you’ve already followed those steps, can you send your widget ID so I can try it out?

  Yes I checked out the support documentation…Actually I think the problem might be on twitter’s end…with a glitchy widget ID
