Twitter Timeline Widget Not Displaying
-
Having problems getting the Twitter timeline widget to appear. I have the widget in my sidebar and added the widget ID from Twitter, but no tweets actually appear on my site. Instead it just says “My Tweets” and is not clickable.
I’ve cleared my cache and tried different browsers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That sounds frustrating. Maybe another Volunteer can help but in case they can’t I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Ok. Thanks Timethief. I can´t avoid been a bit, a big bit, worried about this problem. Thanks again.

My problem ended up being a network filtering issue on my end. My school’s filter was blocking the Twitter widget from showing up correctly. When I checked my site from home, the widget displayed fine.
I would advise anyone with this issue to make sure you are not on a protected or filtered network like a school or business.

Thanks Blews8. Unfortunatly, this is not my case. The twitter widget in my wordpress.com site look ok sometimes, sometimes just the “my tweets” text. I have test it with Chrome 29 and beta 30, internet explorer, a PC with Windows 8 and a MAC with last OSX…

@unbosquedeteverde – it could be due to network problem or a problem on twitter’s side. I’m looking at your sites in Chrome 29 and FF 24 both on a PC and everything is showing up, although I had to refresh the page in Chrome to see it. Kindly note that WordPress.com does not officially support beta versions of browsers.
By the way, is it possible that on unbosquedeteverde.wordpress.com you are using the old twitter widget? If so, you should switch to the timeline widget.

Thanks Jennifer. Actually the site i was having problems with the new Twitter widget was lecturassumergidas.com…
Update: After 3 days with the problems i related in my previous posts, since yesterday looks like the widget is working ok all time. I did nothing, Don´t know what has been changed, probably in the twitter side, but definitly are good news, not only for me, but for all the people i read in the different forums that were having similar erratic behaviour of the new Twitter wideget in their wp site.
Anyway, thanks a lot to all of you; blewish8, Timethief and Jennifer, for your support.

My Twitter Timeline doesn’t show up at all. Referring us told old support posts is not helping.

@ebontekh Our forum volunteers are trying their best to help, so please bear that in mind when replying to their suggestions.
I can see your Twitter widget operating as it should be on the right hand side. Try clearing out your cache if you continue to have problems. There are details on how to do that here:
Thanks!

I have the same issue with the twitter timeline (jetpack) widget. Just in chrome. Firefox displays. IE displays. Same issue with the facebook like box (jetpack) widget.
That indicates it’s not an issue on their side. I’m going to presume it is an issue on my machine with chrome, unless someone else chimes in that they have a similar issue. If anyone wants to check (using chrome) the site is philosiblog dot com. Thanks!

@philosiblog – Your Twitter timeline widget and FB like box display fine for me in Chrome. Are you still having this problem? If so, can you please check that you’re using the most recent version of Chrome:
