Twitter tweet embed not showing properly anymore

  Why isn’t my twitter embed showing properly? It used to look just like a tweet with the “reply” “retweet” etc options at the bottom. Now it is just some text and a few links. No box or format and no options.

  It used to look exactly like displayed on your “help” section: http://en.support.wordpress.com/twitter/twitter-embeds/

  And now it looks like this image: http://llwproductions.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/tweet-display-in-wordpressdotcom-website.png

  I just have the image to show you as I’m not going to show that in my post. Doesn’t resemble anything close to a tweet. And the shortcode I used was: [tweet https://twitter.com/ArthurA_P/status/301699185684660225%5D

  Why is this no longer working? I have a “dummy” site, too, with just a very basic theme that I use for misc reasons. I thought that perhaps my theme is the problem as it is a purchased theme – even though tweets used to display properly with this current theme. But the tweet still looks the same in my dummy test site, so the theme is not the problem.

  Since we cannot install plugins in .com sites, then it must be on your end. When do you foresee this being fixed?

  FYI… my tweet shortcode embed was NOT hyperlinked. That just happened in this post. I didn’t realize it would do that. Actually, I thought I was emailing support. Didn’t know this was going to a support forum or whatever this is. Thanks, though.
