Twitter tweets… my account was hacked…

My old Twitter account got hacked by some porn site and is tweeting pornographic links to my blog now. I want to remove them from my blog but don’t know how. I have a new twitter account which I connected to my blog here but still the old hacked tweets are showing up on my WordPress blog!!!! HELP! I want to remove them they are awful! I have reported it to Twitter but still must remove the tweets from my blog. How do I do that? Thank you.

Hi there,
You can remove the Twitter widget by going to the Customizer and selecting the widgets tab. But given the situation I’ve gone ahead and removed the widget so it’s gone from your site a little faster.
I hope you can regain access to your Twitter account, but given that the people who did this probably managed to obtain or reset your Twitter password, I’d say now is a good time to update the passwords on all your online accounts, starting with your email, WordPress.com and Facebook accounts. Also consider enabling two-factor authentication on all of them as an extra security measure.
