Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button

  I recently made a new twitter account and decided that I wanted that new particular username to be included in tweets when people use the Twitter-button to share my posts. However it keeps adding ‘via (oldtwittername)’ regardless of the fact that I already changed that sharing setting.

  I’m not sure if the issue is that I have two different twitter accounts connected to the publicising options, but I already tried dis- and reconnecting both, even leaving the old/other twitter account away in case that was bothering WordPress for some reason. However neither seemed to work.
