Twitter Widget

  I am trying to add a twitter widget on my blog, but the twitter widget doesn’t appear to be showing up on the list of available widgets. This is for a different blog than I am posting this from (it wouldn’t let me from the other blog for some reason) ellenmichelle.com which is running the Simple Catch theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!
  Are you trying to post to twitter for your blog or just display a twitter feed on the blog?

  Have you checked the Twitter widget support page out?

  I wanted to have a twitter feed on my blog. and yea I looked at the support page but I couldn’t find anything about the widget just not appearing on the available widget list. Are some widgets not available for certain themes?

  Hi. You presently have the Motif theme activated. Are you referring to this theme? I activated Motif on a test website and found that both the Twitter and Twitter Timeline widgets appear in the available themes.

  Are some widgets not available for certain themes?

  Not that I’ve heard of.

  No I’m trying to do it for the Simple Catch theme, not Motif. It is for a different blog than the one I posted the question with. ellenmichelle.com is the one I am trying to get the twitter feed for.

  Okey. ellenmichelle.com is not a WordPress.com website. If it is a self-hosted WordPress.org website, then please visit the WP.org support forums and inquire there regarding the Simple Catch theme, which btw is not a theme available for WordPress.com websites.
