Twitter widget after a theme transfer

Am very new on the patch: Have moved recently themes from Light to Titan, had placed a number of social media icons on Light which transferred seamlessly. By personal choice I don’t’ use,or have ,Twitter or Facebook accounts but took a chance that some bright crew will have found ‘work around’ solutions where by Twitter/Facebook users who are WordPress blog visitors/ users can send material out to their accounts if they want to, without my having to opt into those networks. Been reading Panos’s blogs notes and Support notes but at the moment can’t seem to find any info on how this can be done. Take it I’m looking in the wrong places, or, am I just fooling myself.

    Cheers, Rob K

I have visited the blog linked to your username and I do see social networking buttons at the end of your posts. Please specifically state what it is that you want help with because I don’t know what you are asking or what it has to do with workarounds. Any visitor to your blog can manually post the URL of any of your posts to any social network they belong to. Whether or not you belong to it is irrelevant.

Thanks very much for your reply above, it does solve my query.

As I have never used them – the social networks, thought I had to ‘belong’ for those icons to work..Hence, thought it need another way to deal with it, Clearly I have misunderstood how the term ‘work-arounds’ is used.

My confusion stems from something that happened to me with Gravatar ? Initially I listed a website (mine) when I selected a generic computer image, the site remained ‘greyed out’ until I replaced with an image from my own other work, then it suddenly lit up and became active. Probably I have made a number of mistakes!

Thanks again, for your rapid answer, it is much appreciated.
