  Twitter widget. Every time I copy and paste the Twitter widget code into the box and hit SAVE, it disappears. help please!

  Are you trying to set up the Twitter Timeline widget, or are you trying to add Twitter code into a regular text widget?

  If you’re using the Timeline widget, you only need your ID to enter into the widget settings. If you’re using a text widget, there may be code that’s not allowed on WordPress.com and that’s why it’s getting stripped out.

  Got it, now it keeps the code (I’d been trying to paste the entire thing there) but when I go to my site, nothing shows up!

  I don’t see the widget either. What section of your sidebar did you place the widget?

  Hi there,

  The problem was the widget had a visibility rule set–which meant the widget was only appearing on author pages. I removed the visibility setting so the widget shows as expected now.
