  I have copied and pasted my twitter widget ID multiple times and it’s not taking effect. It’s blank.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have copied and pasted my twitter widget ID MULTIPLE TIMES AND CLICKED “SAVE” and no effect has taken place. At one point, the “Follow Me” wording completely disappeared. It seems like this shouldn’t be that difficult to implement.

  The widget data is cached and does take time to update. When bloggers post here it’s usually a case of:
  (1) Not entering the correct and complete Twitter URL.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-timeline-widget/

  (2) Not waiting for the widget to update.

  So what is your Twitter URL please?
  How long have you waited for the widget to update?

  At this point, I’ve waited about three hours. When you say twitter URL… Do you mean my twitter name?

  I tried the directions once again. I followed the directions to a “T”. I waited for about 10 minutes to see if my timeline would appear. Still no success. Perhaps this feature does not work with the theme that I’ve selected. Unfortunately, in order to know for sure it seems that I am going to have the enlist the services of a paid professional.
