Twitter widget not posting replies

Hi,
I just activated the Twitter widget and while my own Tweets appear, any replies I receive do not. I did not click “hide replies,” and my Tweets are public.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Yes, timethief, I know it’s a duplicate thread. I posted it here in “Support” after posting it in “Widgets,” because after waiting a few days, I haven’t received any replies that have resolved the issue, and am still hoping to do so.
Any help would be appreciated.

What raincoaster said reflects my own experience as well.There is no way to do that on WordPress.com as far as I know. There isn’t a Twitter widget in the world that does that of which I’m aware.

Ok, but what does the Hide Replies box do then??? In the Twitter video tutorial on WP, the speaker says that he doesn’t click Hide Replies because “the conversation is what’s interesting.” I understand that to be that if you tweet something, and someone replies, you have the option of it appearing. If you don’t want this, you can click Hide Replies, and the replies will not appear.

The Twitter widget only shows YOUR replies to people when you allow it to show replies. When you have it hide them, then your replies to people will not appear.
As I said in the other thread, there is no Twitter widget in the world which functions in the way you expect here.
