Twitter Widget not working
-
Hi, I’m having problems getting the twitter widget to appear on my blog.
I watched the video and made sure my tweets are public in my twitter account, and
selected latest 5 tweets after putting my username but it just doesn’t appear on the
blog. I tried to put it in different sidebar locations and still no luck. I tried the twitter
blackbird pie method and that worked, but I don’t want the tweets to take over the
home page. I just want it to appear in the sidebar. Any suggestions? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As far as I know the instructions here ought to work > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/twitter-widget/

I added the Twitter widget just fine and it does not work that well. the text escapes the sidebar and bleeds into the blog. I would think that the text should wrap, like every other thing in the sidebar…
I tried several themes, so I guess it is an issue with the widget…
thanks!

I’m using Firefox 3.6.16 and I don’t see any “bleeding” form the Twitter widget. Which browser and version of it are you using? Have you tried any troubleshooting?
- You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser.
- You could try using another browser.
