Twitter won't show a summary of my blog posts

  My wordpress.com blog won’t show a summary on twitter due to the new twitter cards. I’ve looked online and it seems to be because I have my own domain. Can you please help me on this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Matt,

  Sure thing. Since you own your own domain, you’ll need to request approval from Twitter directly for tweets to your domain to show the cards. You can sign in and request it via https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/validation/validator

  After logging in, you’ll see a form that allows you to “test” what the cards would look like. Try it using a single post URL (e.g. http://allthingsirrelevant.net/2013/11/01/example-post), then you should have an option appear to submit for approval.

  When I did this for my own domain, it was approved pretty quickly.

  thanks for helping, but now all twitter will do is display all of my posts as galleries! Which isn’t what I want!

  Understood! We’re actually working on improving Twitter Cards at the moment and are looking to launch improvements to the logic used to tell Twitter what type of Card to use within the next couple of weeks.

  I appreciate your patience as we should have it working better soon.
