Twitter/X embed block not working properly

Is anyone else having issues with the Twitter block not working right in the editor? Whenever I put a link in the box to be embedded, one, it doesn’t display properly, which I will include a screenshot. Or the block will not embed the link, stating the block cannot embed the link and asks if I want to transform it to as standard link.

Below is a screenshot of the twitter block displaying the link instead of embedding it, while I had to upload an image of the post I was trying to embed.

You keep linking to that thread but it claims that using a block enabled theme and enabling blocks in comments “fixes” the problem.
It does NOT.
I still get ‘cannot embed the link’. The most amusing part is it will actually display the embed briefly when you hit comment but then it disappears and shows up as a link.
I am on a wordpress.com hosted website and my own personal guess is that there is some api limiting/throttling going on and wordpress just doesn’t want to say these embeds are no longer reliable.
