  Hello, does the WordPress app (I think it’s called Calypso), only work on sites hosted by wordpress.com? Does it not allow editing on sites hosted by other companies?

  Hi there,

  All the official WordPress apps work with self-hosted WordPress sites (.org) too. In fact, if you have a bunch of WordPress sites you can easily manage them from the app!

  The apps are available for a variety of operating systems and you can download them here:

  Also, to clear some confusion, Calypso is the codename for the new WordPress.com interface. The cool thing is that with one WordPress.com account you can take control of all your self-hosted WordPress sites. Have a look here:
