two accounts into one

  When I tried to change the publicly displayed email adress of my wordpress account, I found out that the email adress I want to use is already connected to another wordpress acount. I would like to drop that old acount and add the email adress to my new one. How should I go about this? Thanks for your help.

  Hi @afcrew,

  Our system does not display your email address publicly, actually.

  But if you still want to swap out the address, here’s what I’d do:

  – Log into the other account

  – Head to https://wordpress.com/me/account ; change the address to an alias. On gmail for example, you could use youraccount+anything @ gmail.com [without the spaces], and it would still deliver to the main account.

  – Confirm the address

  – Log out

  – Log into this account

  – Head to https://wordpress.com/me/account , change the address, and confirm
