Two accounts one domain

Hello there, I have a website already and I want to start in WordPress with the same domain I have and keep both accounts. My question is opening an account in WordPress with the domain I already own could affect my primary website?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your primary domain can only point to one webpage but you could use a subdomain if you want to keep both websites up.
That would look like this:
Primary domain: yourprimarydomain.com
Subdomain: subdomain.yourprimarydomain.com
Wherever your domain is registered you can create a subdomain and point it to your new WP website via the DNS records. Your hosting provider can help you with this if you are uncertain how to create a subdomain.
