two blogs of the same name by accident, would like to transfer posts

  I’m new to all of this and I seem to have accidentally set up two blogs, both called yellow dog days, and so some post are on one, some on the other. I didn’t realise this until I saw that the followers were different on each. How can I transfer all the posts onto ONE blog only?? Thanks! Vicky.

  A couple of people have reported this. Do you happen to know if the URLs are different, even by one letter of the alphabet? If so, what are they?

  Hi there!

  You set up two different WordPress.com sites and titled them both as “Yellow Dog Days”:

  1. http://babyv2000.wordpress.com/
  2. http://yellowdogdays.wordpress.com/

  Which site do you want to be the primary site? You would want to export all your posts from the site you no longer want to use and import them into your primary site. Here’s more information on importing and exporting:

  Export Your Website’s Content

  
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  To avoid confusion after your transfer, rename the site you no longer want to use as something other than Yellow Dog Days, and make the site private. Here’s more information on making that site private:

  Thanks so much for your replies and help. I’m going to import/export now so hopefully I’ll get it right (!) and yellow dog days will be up and running solo! Thanks again!
