two blogs one dashboard
-
I have two blogs, going to the dashboard I get directed to the main. how can I switch between the dashboards?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://werkbank.wordpress.com/ dont know if its possible to switch… my solution right now is that I go to “your staff” and then to “edit” of a posting .. at lest I can get to the right dashboard – I guess there is a more elegant method – thank you very much for any help

When logged in, there is a grey bar at the top of the browser window when you are either in the dashboard or at your blog. Click on “my dashboards” and you can choose from the different blogs you have and be taken to the dashboard for that blog.

right here is my problem… I always come to the same dashboard – doe’nt matter on witch blog I am – I can not choose to witch one I would like to go
-
You choose by doing as I suggest and clicking on “my dashboard” in the grey bar and selecting the other blog. I have 6 blogs here and that is how I move from dashboard to dashboard.
If you want a different blog to come up by default, go to users > your profile and select a different one under “primary blog.”

Changing the primary blog under users > your profile did not seem to make a difference on my blogs.
If the login address you are going to when you log in is http://blog1.wordpress.com/wp-login.php , then that is the dashboard that is going to be active when you log in.
If you log in from http://blog2.wordpress.com/wp-login.php, then that is the dashboard that will be active when you log in.

are you on wordpress.org or .com – I have no pulldown no nothing where I can choose… hmmm thank you for your time anyway… don’t know whats wrong here
-
I’m talking about .COM. The grey bar at the top of the browser window should say “My Account, My Dashboards, New Post”.
-
problem solved.. had to shot down the browser and open it again… thank you – that was the secredpath.
-
Glad you got it sorted. I couldn’t figure out why you could not see it.
And you are welcome.

I’m having exactly the same problem, and I have quit my browser twice. I even logged out and back in as well. It still just gives me “Dashboard” singular rather than both, and anytime I make any changes to the second blog, then click on Dashboard again, it takes me to the first blog’s dashboard instead. I’m using Firefox, the latest version, on an iMac running OSX 10.5.6. Any ideas?

Okay…here’s the drill. Just now I can look up at the top of the screen and it says “My Dashboards,” but the minute I go to the second blog (I created it today and made it my primary), it goes back to singular “Dashboard” and defaults to my first blog no matter what. Obviously, this isn’t how it’s supposed to work. Any ideas??

I had to completely lot out of my computer entirely and restart everything for it to work properly. Firefox glitch, I’m guessing…good for multi-bloggers to know. Really frustrating today–having to restart a computer to make a webpage work is very 1900’s… :-P
