Two blogs, one dashboard?
-
I have a personal blog (albeit, one I really haven’t started using yet) and I am the adminsitrator of two other blogs that have multiple authors (one public, one private). My personal blog was created at different time, using a different e-mail address, so I have to log out of it to log into the other two.
I’d really like to be able to administer all three blogs from the same login. If I simply change the e-mail address attached to my personal blog to the e-mail address that I use for the other blogs, will it then show up in the “My blogs” list with them?
I’m afraid just try it out, for fear of messing up the login for the other two blogs.
Yes, I know. Simpletons shouldn’t be blog admins.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Just invite yourself to the other blog (your orphan personal one) – then you can admin all of them – CAUTION – your company name will show up as an Author in your private blog if you write something – but you can page down on the edit Post page and change the Author to your personal blog name –

Doh! That’s so simple. Thank you — I don’t know why I couldn’t have come up with that solution on my own.
This is the 2nd time you’ve answered one of my dumb questions. I see from your blog that you’re in the Seattle area. If I ever make it back out there, I’ll buy you a beer. Or a latte. Or some other beverage of your choice.

Well, following auxclass’s advice, what I did was go to my personal blog’s dashboard & go to
Users—>invite new
Then sent an invitation to be an administrator to the e-mail address under which my multiple-user blog (the one showing up for this forum post) is registered.
Quick & painless and did exactly what I wanted it to do.
