Two blogs or a bilingüal one with same content in separated posts?

Hi everyone. I have a question:
I am thinking about translating my content into Spanish and I would like to know If there could be problems with SEO or the Google algorithm.
Is a good idea to upload the same content in both languages in separated posts and adding an URL to the translated version (or categories) or problematic? It is about creating two posts separated in the same Blog with the same content in Spanish and English and adding categories. However, I don´t know If this could be harmful to SEO or a possibility to lose followers.
I want to do this to increase my traffic and visits, but I don´t know If I should do it in the same Blog.
I am working with the free WordPress.com platform.

No, it shouldn’t be an issue with your SEO. The easiest way to do this is through the Google Translate widget. Check it out here:

I am not sure about that technique. Despite writing an URL to the translated post, maybe it could give me problems. I think that I will have more visits, but few followers because the page is bilingüal with the same translated content. And it´s probable that I will have more visits from one language that the other.
