Two Blogs with Same Name

    Unwittingly, I have created a second blog with the same name as my active/current one, The Higher Inquiètude. To avoid confusion, I’d like to the delete one without affecting the original one and without changing its name. The second one has one post logged. but the same post appears in the first one, so it’s OK to delete it the second.

    When I began ti delete the blog, a warning popped up telling me to contact support–so here I am. Any advice?

    Thanks for contacting us!

    I can see that you created lamactech.wordpress.com, which is also called The Higher Inquietude, just as is the more-filled-out lamactech.me.

    At WordPress.com, deleting a blog is a permanent operation the removes the blog address from ever being used again. Fortunately, keeping a blog around is free.

    You thus have a couple options: we can truly delete the blog at lamactech.wordpress.com, in which case you would never be able to create lamactech.wordpress.com again, or you could simply leave it as is or delete the post from it and let it sit there. In the second case, the blog would be available should you ever want to use the address.
