Two different sites for my email
-
Hello!
I started a little WordPress-blog a year ago. First I created a site “narsisser.wordpress.com”, but later “narcissus.no” instead with GoDaddy. I was a little too late with renewing my payment information, and now the site is parked. I had planned to move it to another hosting service anyway, but the problem is I now have a problem downloading a backup of the site.
And the problem is that when I log onto WordPress, I only get up the old, empty “narsisser.wordpress.com” site. I used to circumvent this problem by never logging into wordpress directly, but by “/wp-admin”, an option I no longer have (since the site is parked).
Do you understand my problem? Is there any way around this?
I really hope there’s a solution (besides paying GoDaddy 50$ to get the site back), and that the whole site isn’t lost.
The site in question is http://narcissus.no

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear that you have trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It was a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
The site was also not using our backup product https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/ so we’re unable to directly help with this.
In this case, it sounds like paying GoDaddy to recover it would be your best option, but you’re also welcome to start a new site with us instead at https://wordpress.com/start where you’ll at least be able to copy and paste your content from an archived copy like https://web.archive.org/web/20220207081227/https://narcissus.no/
