two different sites on wordpress?

Hi there. Some ‘techie’ friends set up a webpage for me on WordPress, and at this point I am now on my own, trying to manage my page. I intended for my site to be called ‘Lynnsnycsupperclub’, but I think at some point my friends set up a second page called ‘lynnsastoriasupperclub’. I like to keep things ‘clean’ and so I want to remove any reference of this superfluous site called ‘lynnsastoriasupperclub’. Often when I work on the wordpress site, I see that both webpages (lynnsnycsupperclub and lynnsastoriasupperclub) both show up under My Sites, so they seem to be somewhat ‘linked’. I just wanted to double-check in with you that indeed I should be able to delete the Astoria site without it affecting the other ‘NYC’ site? Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, yes I see you do have two entirely different active sites as well as a deleted site (the one currently attached to your username).

You could delete lynnsastoriasupperclub, but that would remove all access to it in the future if you decide you want to use that address.

If you simply don’t want it to show up in your My Sites menu, you can “hide” it on your “My Blogs” page. For you, that is https://lynnsnycsupperclubcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs Hover your cursor over the astoriasupperclub site name and on the right, under the “Dashboard” column, you can click on the word “Hide” so that you retain access but it’s not in your face, as it were.

Let us know how that goes.

    Got it. Thanks very much!

    Glad to help.

If you want to change the link in your username (which currently links to your deleted site) you can do that in your account settings https://wordpress.com/me/account in the Web Address line.

    Best wishes
