Two display names on one account

  Hi,
  I manage two blogs from one account. The two blogs cover different subjects. Can I use different display names for the two different blogs? If yes, how?

  Hi there,

  I am not sure if I understand your request correctly

  Can I use different display names for the two different blogs?

  Do you eiter:
  – want to use 2 different usernames for each blog?
  If that is the casethen you can create a new WordPress.com username and then transfer one website to that username. (learn now here)

  OR
  – want to change the public display name of the website?
  To do that just select the desired website and go to Settings
  Or use this link: https://wordpress.com/settings/general – then select website

  Thanks for your help. I am sorry for being ambiguous. I meant “Public Display Name” in My Profile.
  I have an impression that the “Public Display Name” is associated with the username and account. Am I correct ?
  The two blogs managed from this account are of totally different nature. I think, current Public Display Name for this account is suitable for one of the two blogs only. I want to know if I could use another Public Display Name for the other blog using the same account.
  I hope I am clear.

  Hi,

  Your “Public Display Name” is indeed associated with the display name but this cannot be changed to show a different name for different websites under your account.

  If you want a different “Public Display Name” then you need to transfer one website to a different WordPress.com username.
