Two email questions

  Two quick (I hope) questions on a public blog:

  1. Can I change the email sent so that only a link to the blog goes, instead of the whole post?

  2. I assume a click from an email back to the blog counts as a read. Am I assuming correctly?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1) I think if you go to Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> and set For each article in a feed, show >> Summary

  Only the first few lines of your Post will be in an email sent to subscribers – then they can click on the link if they want to read the Post.
