Two entries of metadata in post?

    Hi all,
    I have created blog for my website.In my every post,meta tags for blog index page as well as individual post page are coming.This is giving duplicate content issue for number of pages in webmaster tool.I want my post should have its own meta tags (title,k/w.desc) only,not blog page.How to change setting?
    Please help me to resolve this problem.

    They need to see the blog in question so if you could please post the complete url of your blog starting with Http:// would be fabulous!
