Two factor authentication

I had to replace my phone and I cannot find my backup passwords. I need to get two-factor temporarily disabled to I can log back into my account and enable Google Authenticator on this new phone.

Login to your WordPress.com admin as normal. When you get to the verification code prompt, click on Send recovery code via SMS:

You’ll receive a code to your phone that you can enter to login WordPress.com.

Account recovery does not take place here in the forums and that is why I did not tag this thread for Support Staff but provided the correct link for you above. I cannot predict how long it will take for Account Recovery Staff to deal with those who submitted account recovery forms before you did. -
