Two factor authentication serious problems

    Hello WordPress,

    I have a problem with my account. I stopped blogging in September last year. I just thought to resume this month and I am unable to login in to my WordPress account as I never receive the 2 factor authentication on my phone.

    When I signed up, using Google authenticator was not available for my country so I had to use the 2FA phone number option.

    I can confirm that my phone is live and my number can receive SMS (I’m using it now) yet for some reason I never get the codes.

    I no longer have the backup codes as I moved during the year and can’t place where I put them.

    But why are the codes not coming through? The number is correct and WordPress shows the correct number in the “your number ends with ****”

    I have waited for a few days to make sure it’s not a network issue, but everything else and other 2FAs from other site works fine except WordPress.

    Please help. This is delaying my comeback as I need to change a number of things including my gravatar.
