Two Home Pages
-
I created an about page, which I would like to be the home page. I went to Reading Settings and changed it to a static page. I selected About for Front Page and left Posts page blank (which is how I would like it).
I now have a home and an about page that link to the same thing. How do I get rid of one of the pages? The FAQ’s say to use the Parent attribute. I went to the About page but “Main Page” is not in the parent drop down list. How do I set the home page as the parent?Thanks

P.S. I use wordpress online, not the softwareThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Or could someone tell me an HTML code that redirects to a URL — it needs to work on wordpress.com too (this would be another solution)
I tried:
<meta http-equiv=”REFRESH” content=”0;url=http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com”>
But wordpress doesn’t support it or something -
I realized that I could hide one of the pages by using the Parent attribute — even if they weren’t hidden under each other

What the FAQ means is to set your “About” page as a child of a parent page.
To fix that, edit the About page and look at the “Page Attributes” box to the right.
Select anything but “(no parent)” from the Parent pull-down menu.
Also, it’s not possible to add meta tags the one you posted above.
