Two inquiries (social media icons and page titles)……

  I could not find any help on support/forums, so her if you could help please:

  1. How can I remove page titles on select pages without removing the menu item? For instance, I do not want ‘Home’ at the top of the home page.
  2. How can I remove the social media/like icons at the bottom of each page. I did not add them myself, but cannot seem to find a way to get rid of them.

  BTW, I am using Sundance theme.

  Sorry, one more:
  3. The drop down in the top menu seems to have a glitch. When I hover over Services and then try to slide down to the sub menu items, the sub menu list disappears before I can get to one of them. It’s intermittent though; doesn’t happen every time, but most of the time.

  3. I cannot replicate this issue. Does it happen with a specific browser? Is there any more info you can give me to help troubleshoot?

  1. Is this the case throughout WordPress or only the Sundance theme? It looks awkward and silly to say ‘Home’ at the top of the home page. Don’t you think? Is there a way to have a different menu item label than a page title? I’ve tried several areas of the site admin and cannot find a way myself.

  1. I suppose that is a matter of design opinion. I find that most people find the consistency of a menu at the top of the page to be really helpful.

  You can change the name of the menu items, you just can’t change them on each individual page. “Home” can’t change to “you are here”, for example. Or, as you asked originally, make “home” disappear.
