  Two issues please:
  1. I am using your standard4/20 theme and wish to change the background color to black. It is not updating.
  2. Is there a way to loop images in one image place?

  Every theme has a detailed theme description and a live demo site as well. Please see here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyfourteen/ and here http://twentyfourteendemo.wordpress.com/

  The slider is only for some posts. It’s not intended to be used for all posts. If you place every post in the slider then none will appear below. When a featured post with a featured image is placed in the slider then it does not display on the same page ie. on the front page of the blog in the stream of posts. Also note when a post is featured in the grid it will not appear again on the same page in the stream of posts.

  Yes, sort of a slideshow but it would loop and start once it is completed

  If a slider is an on-going display of different images, this is what I want. NOT for my blog but under one of my pages
