Two likes and no views?

  I’ve set my blog to show a summary in the Reader, so that people have to click through to read the full post. One day last week I got two Likes and no views. Does that indicate that the ‘likers’ didn’t actually read the post?

  Hi there!

  I imagine someone may have “Liked” the post from the Reader:

  https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/45671942/

  In this way, they could still read the post and click Like, but having not visited your site it would not be recorded as a view.

  Given that they can only read a summary in the Reader, I guess that means they’ve ‘Liked’ it without reading the whole post. I’m sure psychological explanations are outside your remit, but what a strange thing to do!
