Two links generated for product pages

Hello Folks, writing to share a major bug I’m facing on our WP website.
We’re using woo-commerce to host our products and for all the products there appear to be 2 separate URLs being generated. One is with /shop/ as the base and another with /product/ as the base.
the /product is a custom base that we had created but we’re not able to figure out where is the /shop/ being created from. We looked into the plugins to see if there was any conflict and there doesn’t appear to be any.
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here? How can I resolve the issue? It messes up our crawl budget.
As a temporary solution, we added a redirect from /shop/ to /product/ you can try both URLs below:
