two log ins two passwords
-
I’ve followed the links and read the FAQ, I didn’t see my problem or I am not labeling my problem correctly. It would appear I have two wordpress accounts? I log into one for my website which is self hosted on Blue host and I love in to another for the wp blogs I follow. Can I combine them? Obviously wp.org and wp.com are different. I’m guessing the .com is the blogs I’m following and the .org in the self-hosted blog website?
I have two different log ins names and passwords. Why? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Exactly right a wordpress.COM account won’t be the same as an account on a wordpress.ORG blog. So there will be two different accounts, since your private blog isn’t apart of wordpress.COM so your account cannot work there.

Thank you for responding. So I don’t need to worry about combining them? Or pointing one at the other?
Under my Jetpack there is a button that says: “Did you know you can view enhanced stats on WordPress.com?” I clicked on that and then it told me I didn’t have a Word Press blog.
Now, that I’m poking around I see a blue box on my Jetpack that says:
“To enable all of the Jetpack features you’ll need to link your account here to your WordPress.com account using the button to the right. “Why would I need to do that. What would be the benefits? What would be the detractors?
Thanks :)
