two person private blog when one person leaves for over a year and only one left, need to delete the blog

Two of us shared this private blog. She left permanently, a year+ ago. However it’s her email addy that the delete email with link goes to. I can not change that on settings, and I want out since I am alone. How can I delete this blog?

Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. That blogg owner is the one who can login and delete the blog.

The account that owns the blog is the only one that should be able to delete it – – you can however delete the contents and let the blog sit

We are both listed as administrators, but only her fake email address was used. I tried to edit the box by adding my email so I can delete with the supplied link, but it would not take. Her email account listed is closed , has been for a year.

We have come full circle back to what I posted. Only the person with the username account who registered the blog can delete it. If you are in contact with her she can recover the account and delete the blog.

Okay, I tried to empty the contents, trashed pages. Left, clicked on the blogs link and there they were again. So I tried to delete my posts only, trashed them. Left, clicked on the blog’s link and yes, my posts were all back in place. I can’t seem to get loose of this blog as an individual. So, I am not the owner therefore I can not delete the blog, and I can not trash/delete in 30 days – my posts, and I can not trash the pages. So this blog will just sit there forever? or until someone finds her data and visits it? I feel like a hostage.

Then just walk away from it. It’s private and no one can read it. You can’t access it and no one else can.

I suppose I’ll have no choice but to walk away and hope that no one finds the path if she left directions in her busy office. I would hate to have legal issues from private information being released.

What more can I say than we cannot help you with this. How unfortunate is is that she chose to use ” only her fake email address ” and ” Her email account listed is closed , has been for a year.”
