Please help! I am new to blogging and created our blog with two postings. Something came up at the top prompting me to link or map it to my domain name and I clicked yes and typed in domain — now blog is completely blank! How can I see my blog again??
URL that is supposed to link to is:
http://adelinealley.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry but that site you are referring to is not hosted WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to any sites that are not hosted by WordPress.COM and we do not provide support for them. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get help with your WordPress.ORG issue. We cannot help you here.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

Hello,
Thanks for your input. Yes, I am aware that .COM and wordpress.ORG are different and separate. I have adelinealley.wordpress.com and have made some sort of mistake while linking it to the godaddy site that I have adelinealley.com.
While in the WP Admin section something came up at the top prompting me to link or map it to my domain name and I clicked yes and typed in domain — now blog is completely blank.
Obviously, I am new to this and some of my wording may be off but all that I know is now my blog and posts are gone.
Any ideas?
Thanks! -
Your error could be that you did not purchase domain mapping from WordPress.COM for that URL. Currently the nameservers are pointing to Godaddy and not to WordPress.
Although adelinealley.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below.
If you want to map from http://adelinealley.wordpress.com/ to http://adelinealley.com/ then you need to putchase a domain mapping upgrade and change where the nameservers are pointing to.
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Your name servers are as follows:NS01.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS02.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
If you have access to change the nameservers for this domain, please remove all nameservers not on the required list above.WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible.
Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge. You will have to renew the domain name purchase where you made it and the domain mapping purchase here every year.
Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually. In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.
If you own a domain then see here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

I had already purchased Domain Mapping from WP. The receipt number is 11999257.
When I go to mapping an existing a domain that I already own says,
“Sorry but adelinealley.com is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”
I am stumped. -
