two posts merging? why?

    You’ve introduced lots of junk code because of the way you insert images. Delete your latest post and rework it after checking the FAQs on uploading and inserting images. You’ll need to correct several others posts too, as many images extend past the limits of your main post area.

    Also, the images take too long to load because you link to them in photobucket instead of uploading them to your blog, and because they are too many. You should at least reduce the number of posts per page (in Settings>Reading).

    thanx? Why is this doing it now though…I have blogged here for over 3 years (this is my second blog) and always put in pictures like that. I have an old computer and when I try to upload through word-press, it freezes. I have done it a few times from another computer, but usually I cannot do so.

    I leave the pictures big if they are still visible on purpose, again because my computer does not like editing them.

    First, the code of your latest post includes some of those:
    <div style="width:344px;height:264px;vertical-align:middle;">
    and some of those at the end:
    </div>
    They are useless and incorrectly nested – that’s what produces the problem in your latest post.

    Second, the image code includes heaps of junk (I don’t know how you come up with all that). Your first image, for instance, is:
    <div id="imgEnv-fullSizedImage" style="width:344px;height:264px;vertical-align:middle;"><img style="width:320px;height:240px;cursor:default;" src="http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff97/botterflylover/004-6.jpg?t=1251985838" alt="004-6.jpg picture by botterflylover" /></div>

    It should be no more than this:
    <img alt="botterflylover" src="http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff97/botterflylover/004-6.jpg" class="alignnone" width="320" height="240" />

    That’s what you would get if you used the “normal” way for inserting images uploaded elsewhere. Normal is: Post editor > click the Add an Image button, click “From URL”, paste URL of image, etc. Have you tried that? Does your computer freeze when you do that? If yes, I can suggest an alternative (also for resizing the overlarge images).

    I just copy and paste them directly from photobucket. I have never had this problem before today, and have always done them like that. I will play around a bit, and let you know if I need more ideas.
