Two Problems/Errors

  The technical support person at 1 & 1 told me that I needed to contact WordPress directly about both of these issues.

  First one… on the blog format Twenty Sixteen theme, every picture I see show the widgets on the right sidebar. But when I have all my widgets loaded on the sidebar, they still show up on the bottom of the page, never the side. How can this be fixed?

  Second issue… When I tried to use the blog Responsive theme, if I click on Theme Options, I get an ‘Error Thrown, Function name must be a string’ error. How can this be resolved?

  Hi there, you’ve reached the technical support forums for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom. If your site is hosted on the webhosting service 1&1, then it’s likely you are referring to a site using the standalone install of the WordPress software hosted on heir servers.

  WP and WordPressdotcom are different entities. This Support explains the differences: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Help for self-hosted sites using the standalone WP software can be found over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
