Two Questions about Nuntius Theme
-
This is a phenomenal new theme. There are two kinks I can’t work out, and they both have to do with the news page template.
First, I have seven featured images. Is there any way to make the news page automatically switch between them in 5 second intervals or so?
Second, each of the bottom half of my featured images is covered by text. 4-5 lines are used and followed by a “[…]”. It’s a possible that making the ledes of my articles shorter might remedy this problem (if the teaser is determined by the first indentation), but I don’t want to modify my posts. Is there any way to set a specific teaser for each post/featured image?
Thank you so much.

a) As you’ve seen, the slider is designed to switch when you click on the arrows or the post number. You can’t change how a theme is designed to work.
b) Nothing to do with line or paragraph breaks: what’s displayed by default is the first 55 words of the post. If you want less than that, you type your own teaser in the Excerpt field of the post editor. But the semi-transparent black strip has a fixed height, so even if you type a single word as a teaser you’ll get the same 120px-high strip. You can’t change that except if you have the paid Custom Design upgrade.
