Two search bars
-
I have two search bars appearing on my blog called “Growing Up on Park Street” (Yoko Theme), which seems to be a mistake. It’s crowding the blog, moving my posts to the left with a large chunk on the right taken up with duplicate search bars, recent comments, etc. Please assist. Thank you!

While you are waiting you can click into the detailed theme description page for Yoko at this link http://en.wordpress.com/themes/yoko Note that Yoko has two widget areas for your widgets giving you a three-column or two-column theme. All themes here will display a default display that appears to contain a sample set of widgets in the sidebar and/or sidebar when you have not yet added any of your own. Go to Appearance > Widgets and add only the widgets you desire, configure them and the default display will disappear.

Hi there, the reason you have duplicate widgets is that you’ve added the same widgets to both Sidebar 1 and Sidebar 2, as you can see here:
https://cloudup.com/ciQXbpUwgM1Feel free to vary the widgets in one of the sidebars so there are no repeats. You can do that by deleting the existing widgets and adding new ones instead. Or leave one sidebar empty to have only one sidebar displayed instead of two.
Let me know if you need further help.
