Two seperate blogs side by side on the same page

    I’m starting a blog with my girlfriend with the intention to be an us both writing on the same topic but from our own points of view.

    I’d like it be on the same page but both blogs side by side in different columns. I know I can set up the blog to have columns but this needs to treat each column as separate so we don;t have to do clever formulation of the text.

    I hope that makes sense. so it should be one webpage with two columns that are treated as separate for text entry.

    Any themes that can do this straight away or is it a code thing I can do with any theme?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    That’s a pretty unique layout, so no I don’t know of any themes that do that. But, perhaps you could set that up with blocks. You’d need to put all of your posts in one category, and hers in another. Then:

    – Add a column block

    – Add a Recent Posts block to one column. Set the category.

    – Add Recent Posts block to the other column, and use the other category

    Want to try that? I’d recommend using a theme with a wider width, too, so you have room for both columns.
