Two side by side post lists, one for each author

  On my site, using WordPress’ site editing tools, I would like to put two lists, side by side, both are “Latest posts” but each list exclusively displays the posts of one author instead of all posts. Is there a way to do this? I’m fairly new to wordpress and still learning my way around these tools.
