two sites on one address

Hi there, I’m not entirely certain I understand your question. Did you want to delete a site?
In general, when you delete a WordPressdotcom site, the site content and its address are no longer available. The site address cannot be reused.

I don’t know how it happened but a site I made was accidentally meshed in with kingdomwriterlady.wordpress.com. I have the site intended as well as this other site. When I put in the name of the other site it comes up but when I try to get to settings or customize it switches to the main site. Apparently, I was still signed in under the kingdomwiterlady… when making this rogue site. It was a test site I was trying out for appearance sake and I intended to delete it but I can’t seem to delete it without deleting my good site.

Hello again, Deleting one site shouldn’t delete a different site using a different URL. So I understand that one of the sites is kingdomwriterlady.wordpress.com
What is the address/URL of the other site?

I only see one site on this account, for what it’s worth. Could you possibly send a link to the second site?

I don’t understand how but they both come under that same URL. The rogue site is rhemaresurrected.wordpress.com

Can you show me where they’re showing up under the same address? They look separate to me.

When I try to customize or delete it the screen will show my kingdomwriterlady… and switch to my main site. I don’t know how else to explain it. A person would have to see it in order to understand. It’s weird.

Are you logging out of your current account novelladysite when trying to access rhemaresurrected.wordpress.com?
Since you can only be logged in to one WordPressdotcom account at a time, please log out and then clear your browser’s cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other site you are logged into) and then close down your browser. Then open your browser and log back in with the marlenebanks1 username account. You should then be able to delete rhemaresurrected.wordpress.com from your site settings.

@novelladysite I believe she is correct – the problem is that you have two accounts. Please log out, then log into the correct account for rhemaresurrected.wordpress.com
