Two Sites, Same Theme, Both Different Layout – Help!
-
Hi, I have created two sites on the same theme. However one looks very different from the other. I am trying to make my site at http://pipycw.wordpress.com look the same layout as http://woolwhich.wordpress.com , I can’t seem to figure out how to make them look the same even though they are the same theme. Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
Pip

Hello @pipycw,
The theme on your site http://woolwhich.wordpress.com/, is pulling blog posts and showing it on the front page on the other hand http://pipycw.wordpress.com/ does not have any blog posts currently. So to make http://pipycw.wordpress.com/ look like http://woolwhich.wordpress.com/, please add some posts to http://pipycw.wordpress.com/, by clicking here: https://wordpress.com/post/
Also make sure you have set your front page to display Your Latest Posts from your site customizer.
If it isnt, click on Static Front Page option on the sidebar of the customizer and then select Your latest posts on the Front page displays section. And then, click Save & Publish.Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks otpidusprime!
It seems to have worked. I started adding old blogs from many years ago which is probably why they didn’t appear. How many of these blogs will that page feature?
Also, on the Featured Content Slider, it states the maximum is 6. So does it just replaces it with the latest 6 posts? Or will I have to remove/add ‘Featured’ tag each time?
Thanks a lot for getting back me.
Apologies for the previous duplicated post.
Cheers!
Pip

It’s displays all posts from your blog posts, but initially it loads about 13 posts and then rest of the posts are loaded by clicking the older posts button.
Check out the demo: https://dyad2demo.wordpress.com/

It places the latest 6 posts with the featured tag.
Apologies for the previous duplicated post.
No Worries Pip 😇
Cheers!
