Two sites under one email address – need to delete only one of them

    I have two WP ‘sites’ (I guess?) registered with the same email. If i go to wordpress.com and log in with my email, it takes me to my ‘blog’ that I never used. I also have a site for my business under a different domain but hosted by WP. I log into that account by going to http://www.mydomainname.com/admin and logging in with the same email address. I want to delete the blog because I never use it and wires keep getting crossed when I try to use integrations and plugins. But I DON’T want to delete my business site. When I go to delete the blog account, it says it will ‘delete all my sites’. Is there a way to just delete the stupid blog but not my business site, even though they are under the same email address??

    Hi there,

    You are posting here as the WordPress.com username, blog0020. This account was created in Decembes 2019, and has never owned any sites hosted with us.

    I log into that account by going to http://www.mydomainname.com/admin and logging in with the same email address.

    If that is the case, your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, as it’s impossible to have two WordPress.com accounts using the same email address.

    The only way you can have two sites with different logins but the same email, is if you’re using the open source version of WordPress at another hosting provider. We have no control over sites like that, and can’t help you regain access if you’re locked out.
