Two step authentication failing to allow me to log in

  This is the account I use for another blog, which I have (because of experience) NOT signed up to two-step authentication.
  I cannot currently get into the account with which I administrate the blogs: http://www.storycraftchat.com and http://www.darcyconroy.net

  I have struggled with 2step since the beginning – it NEVER remembers for 30 days, the google authenticator only works half the time and and I have long since gone through my 10 backup codes. I now just use the “send sms recovery code” whenever it logs me out (why it logs me out I don’t know either)

  So to the current problem:
  I have gone through the process of changing the password 4 times in the past god knows how long and EVERY time it:
  lets me into my site;
  LOOKS like I’m logged in;
  the moment I click on Dashboard, or settings or anything other than links on the site it sends me back to log in and ASKS FOR ANOTHER CODE! Of course, it won’t send me another sms recovery code for 30 minutes or so.

  ALL I want to do is get in and turn off the two step once and for all – I have no problems with this account, afterall.

  PLEASE will someone on staff help me? (I’d happily accept advice from users but this is clearly not an issue that someone without access to the back end can help with.)

  I’m seriously going INSANE!
